Although Malaysia does produce goats domestically but only for its meat. It is still not sufficient and needs to import meat from other countries. This also shows that the number of goats in Malaysia is not enough to produce goat milk, therefore 85% of goat milk is imported from Australia. Although the demand for goat milk is not as much as cow milk and more expensive, it is gaining domestic market attention, and demand is expected to increase in a few years.
