The wholesale price of lamb in Spain has inclined by +23.28% YoY. Production of lamb meat in Spain in the first 4 months of 2021 has increased compared to the same period a year ago. France, as the leading importer of Spanish lamb meat, has a high demand for lamb during the upcoming Christmas. On the other hand, the UK as the leading supplier of lamb in France decreased 11% production. This resulted in more demand for Spanish lamb in France and lead prices to surge in December 2021.
