Cocoa bean farmers in Ghana have expressed dissatisfaction about delays in payment for their produce. Such situations usually compel some farmers to smuggle their cocoa beans to neighboring countries such as Ivory Coast and Togo, thus reducing Ghana’s cocoa production output. The current price paid to Ghana's farmers are USD 1,745.56/MT. (EXW)
