Uruguay and cattle farming numbers!!!

In recent days, technicians from the Agricultural Plan released new data from their monthly RING survey (National Livestock Information Network), with information on the situation of pastures and livestock. And also -as every year- the report on the productive and economic results of the traditional Green Folders, which record the economic and productive performance of the establishments accompanied by the Plan. It is an important database of 25 years of records, based on the information provided by more than 150 cattle breeders and full-cycle producers. Regarding the panorama of the fields and livestock, the RING data show that the weather continues to be favorable. 68% of producers reported having pasture that -on average- is above 5 cm in height. The percentage is somewhat lower than that of the exceptional year 2024 (graph) but it is still very good and -of course- much better than in 2023.
