Turkey: 1 million 250 thousand mirror carp juveniles left in dams and ponds in Çanakkale

Within the scope of the Fishing of Water Resources Project carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, 1 million 250 thousand mirror carp juveniles were left in the dams and ponds in Çanakkale. Çanakkale Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, Erdem Karadağ, said in a statement that approximately 70 thousand fish were left in dams and ponds in Çanakkale until 2021, and they increased this number to 450 thousand in 2021 and 1.5 million in 2022.
