A total of 20,000 carob tree saplings have been distributed to producers in Bodrum, Turkey, as part of a collaboration between the Bodrum Municipality, Bodrum Craftsmen, Industrialists and Businessmen Association, and a private landscape enterprise, in the wake of agricultural lands damaged by fires in August. The saplings were planted in various villages and neighborhoods, with financial support from the Municipality and BESİAD, and technical support from the District Directorate of Agriculture. The initiative aimss to provide high-value products and support local producers, with plans for long-term maintenance and control.
