Turkiye: 3,986 tons of hazelnut export from Düzce to the European Union in the first three months of the year

In the first quarter of 2024, Düzce, a prominent hazelnut exporter located in the Western Black Sea Region of Turkey, successfully exported 3,986 tons of hazelnuts to various European Union countries. The exports were notably distributed across the months with 2,294 tons in January, 541 tons in February, and 1,151 tons in March, following a record year in 2023 where Düzce exported 9,730 tons of hazelnut kernels to the EU. This achievement underscores Düzce's significant role in the hazelnut export market and its continued contribution to meeting the demand in European countries.
