Tosya district in Turkey is home to around 7,000 bee hives, with 5,600 registered, according to Bekir Özipek, President of the Farmers' Property Protection Association. The region's rich floral flora is ideal for producing organic and natural quality honey. Unregistered beekeepers are also numerous, and together, they have harvested approximately 50 tons of honey this year. The district has produced 3 tons of beeswax, 900 kilograms of pollen, and 2.5 kilograms of royal jelly. Hüseyin Mahsül, a beekeeper in the village of Yenidogan, has been passing on the family tradition of beekeeping to his family for generations.
