The Muğla Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry in Turkey has distributed 800 thousand tomato, pepper, eggplant seedlings and 50 kilograms of melon okra seeds to 450 producers as part of a project to improve agricultural land use. The project, supported by the General Directorate of Plant Production of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, aims to improve production through the distribution of seedlings obtained from ancestral seeds. Over the past three years, 2.5 million seedlings have been distributed, and the project is funded 75% by the ministry and 25% by the producers.
