Brazilian exports of beef totaled 270.8 thousand tons in March, 9.1% more than that recorded in March 2025, according to data from the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) compiled by the Brazilian Association of Meat Exporting Industries (Abiec). The foreign exchange revenue amounted to US$ 1.482 billion, an increase of 26% on the same basis of comparison. The average price per exported ton reached US$ 5,475, a value 15.5% higher than that observed in March of last year. Beef in natura remained the main exported product, with 233.9 thousand tons shipped in the month, equivalent to 86.4% of the total volume and 91.8% of the revenue obtained in the period. Among the destinations, China maintained its leadership among buyers of Brazilian beef, with 105.4 thousand tons imported in March (+8.4% from Mar/25) and revenue of US$ 603.1 million (+30.1%).
