Agreement aims to strengthen coffee trade between Nigeria and Canada

The West African Specialty Coffee Association (WASCA) announced the establishment of the Nigeria-Canada Coffee Exchange Corridor, an initiative aimed at strengthening bilateral trade between Nigeria and Canada and promoting the export of Nigerian coffee to the international market. According to the release, the Nigeria-Canada Coffee Exchange Corridor seeks to facilitate continued trade and promote long-term partnerships between Nigerian coffee farmers and Canadian coffee importers, roasters and retailers. WASCA stated that by leveraging this corridor, Canadian companies would gain access to a diverse range of high quality Nigerian coffee beans, contributing to the growth of the coffee market.
