The West African Specialty Coffee Association (WASCA) has announced the launch of the Nigeria-Canada Coffee Exchange Corridor, which aims to boost trade between Nigeria and Canada and promote the exportation of Nigerian coffee to the global market. This initiative will facilitate long-term partnerships between Nigerian coffee farmers and Canadian coffee importers, roasters, and retailers, while also focusing on sustainable practices and ensuring fair trade. WASCA plans to organize educational programs, workshops, and commercial events to enhance knowledge and understanding of Nigerian coffee in Canada.
