On April 19, 2022, the price of agricultural products in Vietnam and the global market saw significant fluctuations. In Vietnam, the price of coffee ranged from 40,300 VND/kg to 41,000 VND/kg across different districts, with Robusta coffee in London and Arabica coffee in New York showing increases. The global coffee roaster market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 6.2% from 2021 to 2026, despite setbacks from the Covid-19 pandemic. Pepper prices in the country also rose, reaching up to 80,500 VND/kg, a profitable figure for growers amidst concerns about crop failures due to adverse weather conditions. This increase in pepper prices is expected to further drive market growth, as farmers remain hopeful for higher profits in the face of rising demand and production challenges.
