On March 28, 2023, Vietnam saw a rise in agricultural product prices, with coffee and pepper leading the increase. Coffee prices ranged from 48,300 VND/kg to 48,800 VND/kg, influenced by changes in the global market. Meanwhile, pepper prices varied from 63,500 VND/kg to 66,000 VND/kg locally, and significantly higher international prices. Vietnam's pepper exports in February 2023 surged to over 28,000 tons, valued at $84.19 million, marking a substantial increase compared to the previous month and year. The average export price of pepper in the first two months of 2023 was $3,141 per ton, showing a decrease from the previous year.
