The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine in Ireland has extended the closing date for the 2023 Scheme of Investment Aid for the Seed Potato Sector and the Chipping Sector. The new closing date is 5:00 p.m on April 21, an extension from the previous closing date of April 14. This scheme aims to provide financial support for the development of the seed potato sector and the chipping potato sector through grant-aiding capital investments in specialised plant, equipment, and renewable energy. This year, the scheme has been extended to include growers of Irish chipping potatoes.
