"This year, a set of products for a classic butter cake will cost buyers 9% less than a year earlier," the report states. Thus, as of the beginning of April 2026, the cost of ingredients for preparing a cake according to a classic recipe, calculated for 6 servings in federal retail, has decreased to 148 rubles, AKORT said. The set of ingredients for a vegetable oil cake has also become cheaper - by 4%, to 48 rubles for a 300-gram cake.
