TRABZON (AA) - TUĞBA YARDIMCI - 205 tons of anchovy was exported from Trabzon to 5 countries in the last 4 months, and an input of 579 thousand 817 dollars was provided. Anchovy exports contribute to both foreign exchange inflow and employment. Over 2 thousand people are employed in the facilities in Trabzon, where anchovy is processed and exported, although it changes periodically. Eastern Black Sea Exporters' Association (DKİB) Vice Chairman of the Board Ahmet Hamdi Gürdoğan told Anadolu Agency (AA) that 1059 tons of anchovy were exported from Turkey to 25 countries in 4 months, starting from September 1, when the 2021-2022 hunting season started.
