Another record for the Dutch onion sector

The total export volume of Dutch onions for the 2021/2022 season is almost 1.3 million tonnes, another record for the Dutch onion sector. The largest recipients were Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal. After Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal, the United Kingdom ranked third in the list of the largest export volumes with 142,700 tonnes of onions. Fourth and fifth places are respectively: Guinea with 86,200 tonnes and Mauritania with 65,200 tonnes. After nearly a year of exports to Côte d'Ivoire, just over 180,000 tonnes of Dutch onions were shipped.
