The Indonesian Palm Oil Growers Association (Apkasindo) welcomed the visit of Vice President KH Ma'ruf Amin to review the rejuvenation of community oil palm which had been planted on 2,044 hectares in Wasige Village, Prafi District, Manokwari, from West Papua, Saturday (15/7/2023 ). During the visit, the Vice President witnessed the submission of PSR Technical Recommendations (Rekomtek) and smallholder palm oil mills from the Director General of Plantations to the Arfak Sejahtera Producers Cooperative. On this occasion, the Vice President said that the PSR Program has made oil palm plantations that are no longer productive, back to being productive. "Palm oil in an area of 9,000 hectares has started to become unproductive, because it is old, then with the existence of PSR since 2021, a change has been made so that it can be productive again and the results are bigger again," said the Vice President as quoted ...
