South Korea: Apply for seed source, barley and rye government-promoted species

The National Seed Resources is accepting applications for government supply of barley and rye to be sown this fall. For barley, 182 tons of 3 types of barley, such as ‘Old Barley’, ‘Big Barley No. 1’, and ‘Hyeyang’, 773 tons of 4 types of barley such as ‘Hinchal’, ‘Jaeanchal’, ‘Nurichal’ and ‘Sae’, and 25 tons of 1 type of ‘Yeongyang’ green barley are supplied. For rye, 100 tons of ‘Grain Cattle’ are distributed. Barley can be applied for by dividing it into disinfected and undisinfected seeds. For rye, seed disinfectants are not registered, so all of them are supplied as undisinfected seeds. The supply price is 24,270 won per 20kg bag of unfermented seeds, 26,490 won for rice barley, and 41,730 won for rye.
