Avocados from Africa are sustainable compared to the rest of the world

Avocado, we should know by now, damages the environment and the economy of the areas where it is grown: especially in Central and South America. But in Africa, for a variety of reasons, the question could be different: then the sustainable African avocado appears on the world market, as reported by an investigation by the DW website, and there is already talk of new oil, or green gold. Due to high global demand, avocado has become a profitable export product. Its per capita consumption increased by 406% between 1990 and 2017.
