Turkiye: Aydın pine nuts have applied for registration in the European Union

Aydın Commodity Exchange, which attaches importance to geographical indication studies in order to ensure that Aydın's agricultural products carry brand value in national and international markets, has applied for the registration of Aydın Pine Nuts registered by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office in the European Union. Aydın Commodity Exchange has applied to the General Directorate of Agriculture and Rural Development of the European Union Commission with a request for registration for Aydın Pine Nuts, whose geographical indication registration was obtained on 16 July 2021 to be protected by Aydın Commodity Exchange on 19 June 2019.
