The Stavropol Territory in Russia has seen an increase in cereal exports for the 2020/2021 marketing year, reaching 4 million tons and including first-time exports to Bangladesh, Congo, Indonesia, and the Philippines. The main export destinations were Caucasus and Middle Eastern countries. For the start of the 2021/2022 marketing year, 358 thousand tons of grain have already been exported. The region has a surplus of 6 million tons, which is expected to be sold mainly for export after meeting domestic consumption.
