Chile: Beef meat production from bovine cattle decreased by 5.6% in the July-September 2022 quarter

In the third quarter of 2022, the production of meat in bovine cattle fell 5.6% compared to the same quarter of the previous year, registering 49,471 tons (t). In turn, the entrance to the process of slaughter and slaughter for human consumption (known as benefit) of bovines at the national level was 191,642 heads, with a year-on-year decrease of 5.4%.
