Brazil: Small and medium beef slaughterhouses seek support from the Ministry of Agriculture to expand exports

Small and medium-sized slaughterhouses want support from the federal government so that they can export more beef. The request was made by the Brazilian Association of Refrigerators (Abrafrigo) during a meeting with the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Carlos Fávaro, this Friday (24th), in Brasília. According to the entity, Brazil needs to intensify negotiations with the main meat importing markets to increase the number of slaughterhouses authorized to export.
