Soybean meal exports from Ukraine for the September-June 2020/21 marketing year saw a 30% decrease compared to the previous year, totaling 436.2 thousand tons. This decline was partly balanced by increased exports to Belarus and Poland in the latter part of the period. The export quotas for the year were raised to 470 thousand tons, marking a 31% decrease from the previous year. The European Union and Belarus were the primary importers, accounting for 38% and 34% of the market share, respectively. Exports to Denmark were noted as a first for the 2020/21 marketing year. While exports to several countries experienced growth, there was a notable decrease in exports to Turkey, Hungary, and Poland.
