Belgium's swine sector will continue to be in crisis until April 2022, according to Agriculture Minister David Clarinval. The crisis is due to African Swine Fever, the coronavirus pandemic, and increasing energy and feed prices. The minister plans to exempt the sector from social contributions and will consider partially exempting contributions to the health fund.
