Brazilian fruit exports had a positive first half of 2023, with a 19% increase in sales and a 2% increase in volume. Brazil's favorable climate and diverse ecosystems allow for year-round cultivation of a wide variety of fruits, and investments in technology and infrastructure have improved the quality and preservation of exported fruit. The country is expanding into emerging markets such as China and the Middle East and expects to exceed the $1 billion billing mark from 2021 in fruit exports this year.
