By Fernanda Trisotto Brasília, 06/05/2025 - Brazil will host the annual meeting of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) next week, promoting debates on strategic themes such as food security, climate resilience, and air connectivity, which could even boost the commercial agenda. The meeting marks the conclusion of Brazil's one-year presidency of the Bank's Board of Governors. "It is a very focused event on the political aspect, on the importance Brazil gives to the region, on the approach Brazil wants to have with the region and wants to maintain, helping with solutions, both in the financial part and in infrastructure and food security," explained the interim Secretary of International Affairs and Development of the Ministry of Planning and Budget, Viviane Vecchi.
