From January to October 2022, pork exports totaled 924.2 thousand tons, worth 2.088 billion USD, marking a decrease in both volume and value compared to the same period in 2021. China is the largest pork export market for Brazil, followed by Chile and the Philippines. The average import of the second half of 2022 is projected to be above 100,000 tons, indicating a recovery in pork export activity with a similar trend expected for 2023.
