Bread consumption is decreasing in Greece

Greece ranks among the countries with the lowest bread prices in Europe, despite having the highest number of bakeries, according to a study by the Athens Chamber of Commerce for the Hellenic Bakers Federation. The research also highlights a downturn in bread consumption in the country. These findings were shared during the inaugural cycle of training for artisan bakers by the Chamber of Crafts of Athens.
