In October, Canada achieved its highest canola export volume in six months, with a 17% increase from September and a 65% rise from October 2019, reaching 1.13 million tons. This growth is predominantly due to increased exports to China, the UAE, EU, and Pakistan, with China's share rising to 301 thousand tons from 169 thousand tons in October 2019. Additionally, Canada saw a rise in canola meal exports, with a notable 145 thousand ton increase to the United States, and a slight decline in canola oil exports compared to the previous year. The total export volume since the start of the season, covering August to October, stands at 2.9 million tons of canola seeds, 1.2 million tons of meal, and 797 thousand tons of oil, marking significant growth in the first two categories.
