The president of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, sought this Tuesday in São Paulo to strengthen the presence of the region's wines in Brazil, taking advantage of the imminent provisional entry into force of the trade agreement between the European Union (EU) and Mercosur. "We wanted to be one of the first autonomous communities to present ourselves in Brazil, an immense, expanding, growing market, particularly in the wine sector, following the signing of the agreements between Europe and Mercosur," the regional leader declared to journalists. García-Page attended a meeting promoted by the company Interbev this Tuesday, which brought together Brazilian and Spanish wineries, all of them from Castilla-La Mancha.
