ÇAYKUR, Turkey will bring 10,000 tons of tea fibers and wastes into the economy annually by producing tea extract

With the work initiated by the General Directorate of Tea Enterprises (ÇAYKUR), 10 thousand tons of tea fiber and waste will be brought into the economy annually. The tea extract processing plant, which was established in partnership with Çaysan, a subsidiary of ÇAYKUR, started production in the Kalkandere Free Zone on an area of 18 thousand decares, 7,500 of which is closed. In addition to the daily production of tea extract (tea extract) from tea fiber and waste, the facility continues its product development activities in a laboratory environment. Tea extract, which is produced as a liquid without using any additives, is mostly preferred in tea bags because of its intense brewing feature.
