Jun-yeon Lee, chairman of the Daegwallyeong Horticulture Farmers Cooperative, has been elected as the chairman of the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Radish and Chinese Cabbage Regional Major Production Area Council. The Daegwallyeong Horticulture Farmers Cooperative announced that Chairman Jun-yeon Lee was recently elected as the chairman of the 'Radish and Chinese Cabbage Regional Major Production Area Council' at a meeting. The Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Radish and Chinese Cabbage Regional Major Production Area Council was formed to respond to supply and demand issues of radish and Chinese cabbage caused by abnormal weather such as drought, heavy rain, and heat waves, imbalance in soil environment, continuous cropping damage, and pest and disease outbreaks. Chairman Jun-yeon Lee will now strengthen the cooperative framework between major production areas of radish and Chinese cabbage and take a central role in policy responses for controlling supply and demand and stabilizing production.
