In its recent report for February 2022, the Office of Agricultural Studies and Policies (Odepa) has highlighted a decline in Chile's dried fruit exports, with a 28% drop in volume and a 26% decrease in value compared to the same period last year. The total export value for January reached USD 15.35 million FOB, with shelled walnuts being the most significant product, contributing 49% of the total value. France, the Netherlands, and Ecuador were the primary importers of these walnuts. Additionally, shelled almonds and walnuts in shell were notable exports, accounting for 17.5% and 16.5% of the total value, respectively.
