In June 2024, Chile's bottled wine exports experienced a notable decline, with a 10.8% decrease in volume and a 17.8% drop in value compared to June 2023. However, the first half of the year still showed an overall increase of 9.6% in volume and 2.4% in value. While major markets like Brazil, China, and the US saw declines, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Mexico reported increases. Wines priced between US$50 and US$60 per case grew by 35% in both volume and value, but higher-value wines over US$60 per case faced the largest declines over the past year.
