Chilean wine exports in June 2024

Bottled wine exports registered a decrease of 10.8% in volume and 17.8% in value compared to June of the previous year, with a total of 3.4 million cases exported, generating US$94.5 million. The average price also fell by 7.9%, standing at US$27.9 per case. Markets such as Brazil, China and the US showed significant declines. Despite the drop in June, the first half of the year closed with an increase of 9.6% in volume and 2.4% in value compared to the same period in 2023. In total, 21.9 million cases were exported, reaching US$597 million. Shipments to the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, the Netherlands and Canada registered increases. On the other hand, despite a recovery, exports in the last 12 months remain in negative territory, with a decrease of 6.5% in volume and 9% in value.
