Between January and April of this year, Peru experienced a moderate decrease in whole cinnamon imports, bringing in 461,046 kilos at a CIF value of US $ 4,239,596, a figure lower than the 610,665 kilos imported in the same period of 2019. The main importer in 2020 was Frutos y Especias SAC, accounting for US $ 2,559,739 of the total imports, with other companies such as Plater's Food SAC, Frutas Industrias SAC, Frutos e Industrias N&F Junior SAC, and Distribuidora Luis Mauro SAC also contributing. All of the imports were sourced from Sri Lanka.
