Brazil: City Hall, Ministry of Agriculture and State debate combating cocoa and cupuaçu pests

The City of Cruzeiro do Sul has established a partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and the State Secretariat for Production and Agribusiness to combat the plague of moniliasis, which attacks cocoa and cupuaçu production in the Juruá Valley. Due to the disease, which affected plantations in the region, this year the federal government issued a decree that prohibits the export of the two products to other regions of the country.
