The report points out that, of the 5.77 million hectares sown in the cycle, 88% of the crops are in a condition considered good, while 10% present a medium condition and 2% are classified as poor. According to Deral, the deterioration in the conditions of part of the areas is related to climatic factors recorded throughout the development of the crops. "The crops in medium or poor condition are a reflection of lower temperatures, fewer days with full sun and episodes of intense rains accompanied by hail and gale," informed the department, highlighting that these events occurred mainly in the month of November.
