The Confederação da Agricultura e Pecuária do Brasil (CNA) reported that, through the Campo Futuro project, it conducted this week a survey of production costs for coffee, dairy farming, and sugarcane in four states. The initiative involved the participation of producers, unions, technicians, universities, and research centers in Goiás, São Paulo, Espírito Santo, and Paraná. In the coffee panels held in Espírito Santo and Paraná, different production realities were evaluated. In Brejetuba (ES), the estimated productivity for arabica coffee in 2026 was 36 bags per hectare, a 9% increase compared to the previous cycle. In Jaguaré (ES), in conilon cultivation, productivity declined from 65 to 60 bags per hectare, influenced by low temperatures after the last harvest. In Cachoeiro do Itapemirim (ES), the estimate was 50 bags per hectare, above the 42 bags recorded previously.
