Colombian companies are authorized to export chicken to Cuba

Three Colombian companies received health authorization to export chicken meat to Cuba. The National Institute for Food and Drug Surveillance (INVIMA) approved that these companies start exporting these foods to the Island. Operators Avícola SAS de Girón, in Santander, and the food company La Cali will start business with Cuba. The sale of chicken will take place in different formats. It will arrive on the Island whole or in fractions, chilled or frozen, marinated or not marinated. However, it is not just the chicken that goes to Colombia that will be sent to Cuba. Its offer includes other meat products. Agreements between Colombia and Cuba INVIMA clarified an important element within the agreements established by both parties.
