In February, Brazil's corn exports to China significantly dropped to 70,000 tonnes, a decrease from 983.7 thousand tonnes in January, as the country's focus shifted to the new soybean crop. The total exports also fell by over 60% to 2.275 million tonnes. Besides China, traditional importers such as Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, and Iran increased their corn purchases. Brazil's logistical challenges, especially with a record soybean crop, also impacted corn and soybean exports. In February, soybean exports amounted to 5.2 million tonnes, with China receiving 3.59 million tonnes.
