A Czech delegation, led by the Committee on Agriculture of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and the Czech ambassador to Uzbekistan, has visited Uzbekistan from May 23 to 26 to explore expanding cooperation in agricultural sector. The talks with Uzbekistan's Ministry of Agriculture focused on joint investment in crop production, industrial production, and scientific development, including higher education programs. The Czech delegation also extended an invitation to Uzbek enterprises to participate in the 'Land-nurse' agricultural exhibition in the Czech Republic and discussed potential collaboration in pickled vegetable products, fruit processing, and value-added products. After the successful meetings, a working group was established to further develop the agricultural cooperation between the two nations.
