Dairy product exports from Chile reached US$ 169.3 million in January and August 2024, marking a 5.6% increase compared to the same period in the previous year. The main destinations for these exports were the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, Colombia, and Peru. The United States remained the top destination with 22.5% of the total exports, followed by the United Arab Emirates with 16.7%. Mexico saw a significant increase of 44.6% compared to 2023. Condensed milk was the most exported dairy product, followed by other dairy preparations, cheese, whole milk powder, and skimmed milk powder. There was an increase in the export volume of these products, with cheese and whole milk powder showing the most significant increases of 47.7% and 78.5% respectively, compared to the previous year.
