The Global Dairy Trade auction on December 6 saw a 0.6% increase in the general price index, marking the second consecutive rise. The auction saw the sale of 29,570 tons of dairy products, marginally up from the previous auction. While buttermilk powder prices increased by 4.7%, butter prices saw a decrease of 1.9%. Other products like Anhydrous milk fat, Cheddar cheese, skimmed milk powder, and whole milk powder also experienced price increases, whereas lactose prices decreased by 0.8%.
