The export figures of dried figs are increasing in Turkey

Turkey exported a total of 67 thousand 713 tons of dried figs to 121 countries in the period between October 7, 2022 and August 19, 2023, bringing its exports to a total of 241 million dollars. While dried fig exports increased by 6 percent on quantity basis, it increased by 2 percent on value basis. According to the data of Aegean Exporters' Associations; As of August 19, 2023, it was stated that the export of dried figs, raisins and dried apricots, which was 1 billion 42 million dollars in the 2021/22 season, increased by 5 percent to 1 billion 103 million dollars in the same period of the 2022/23 season. The USA, France and Germany took the first 3 places among the countries that bought dried figs.
