Animal protein prices, particularly for condensed milk, bacon, and pasteurized milk, have increased over the past year, with rises of 8.6%, almost 7%, and 5.8% respectively. Pasteurized and powdered milk prices also saw increases due to higher raw material costs for producers. Ham prices increased from 155 to almost 163 pesos, while the price of eggs remained relatively stable, rising only slightly from 48.9 to 50.8 pesos per kilo over the past year. Overall, the animal protein price index shows a 4.2% annual increase and a slight monthly decrease of 0.4%.
