Either frost or heat, onions in Tajikistan fell sharply in price but exports are closed

According to EastFruit analysts, prices for onion dropped sharply this week in Tajikistan. At the moment, you can buy onions in bulk even at 68-70 US cents per kg, while a week earlier prices reached 88 cents. Thus, over the week, the price decline was more than 20%. Why has the price of onions fallen so sharply? According to Bakhtiyor Abduvokhidov, international consultant of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the main reason for the sharp decline in onion prices was the increase in average daily air temperatures.
