European pork exports from January to September

EU pork exports during the first nine months of this year are 18.2% below those recorded in the same period last year (3,917,697 t vs. 4,787,623 t). Exports below 4 million tons have not been seen during the first 9 months of the year since 2018. China remains the main destination, although its share in total exports has halved, from 2,173,489 t between January and September 2021 to 1,062,955 t for the same period this year.
