The Kherson region in Ukraine was responsible for a significant portion of the country's agricultural production in 2021, according to a report by IA "APK-Inform". The region contributed over 21% of Ukraine's indoor agricultural products, more than 5% of technical crops, and over 4% of cereals and legumes. The region also hosted approximately 58% of the country's grain cultivation areas under irrigation. However, the production volumes in the region are unknown since the Russian invasion due to occupation and ongoing hostilities.
